On his Instagram profile, he posted a photo with his right eye still closed. In the caption, he says he feels no pain and remains confident in the recovery. He also appreciates the messages of support he has received.
“I’m better. Firstly because of the care of one of the most amazing and caring eye doctors I have ever met. Fantastic science…but beyond that, what makes me stronger every minute is the messages of affection that come in. I knew you would respond with the same consideration you devoted here in this space,” as stated in part of the letter.
“Right eye vision still, how do you explain? Fluid! But other than that I remain painless, shock-free and confident. We will resume our exchange soon. And it will be even more incredible. More transparent. More crystalline. Thank you a thousand times. How wonderful to feel By embracing so many nice people!”
On Wednesday (22), in another post, Zika said he had a retinal detachment in his right eye and underwent surgery. He also commented that he will be away from networks to recover.
