Ice Cube rejects Covid-19 vaccine and loses 50 million Brazilian reais salary TV News

Movie star like Anjos da Lei (2012) and Police in Trouble (2014), Ice Cube Comedy cast Oh Hell No has left after refusing to comply with producers’ request and take a Covid-19 vaccine. With this decision, the actor and rapper stopped his salary by about 50 million Brazilian reais.

according to Revista The Hollywood Reporter, the option to leave the project was given by the actor himself, who decided not to show himself in public. Sony Pictures and the film’s producers have not commented on the decision.

With the cast change, Oh Hell No production will be delayed again. The work was halted in June of this year, when black jack, who was starring alongside Cube, was injured outside of filming. Sony is now looking for a new name to join the Black.

During the pandemic, Ice Cube has always been an advocate of wearing masks as a way to prevent Covid-19. Between 2020 and 2021, he donated 2,000 masks to a college in the United States and set up a clothing brand as a campaign for people to protect themselves from the virus.

Oh Hell No’s departure marks the second project Cube has left in recent months. He co-starred in the drama Flint Strong, but also left production. The reasons for his departure were not disclosed.

Hollywood vaccination has become a problem in many projects. An agreement between unions and studios, released in July of this year, states that producers will have the option to implement mandatory vaccination policies for actors and crew in Zone A, which includes actors and close staff.
