Meet the top 10 Brazilian billionaires

The list of Brazilian billionaires grew longer in 2021. Even in the face of the crisis caused by the pandemic, the survey by Forbes Brasil indicates 42 more names than in 2020. In this version, the list includes 315 billionaires, accumulated assets of 1.9 trillion Brazilian reais, This is equivalent to 25.6% of Brazilian GDP in 2020.

According to Forbes, “financial stimulus around the world to respond to the crisis has set the capital market on fire.” Looking at families and newcomers split, this year’s magazine ranking brings in 77 more names than it did in 2020.

Among the newcomers is breast cancer doctor Henrique Moraes Domingo Salvador, CEO and contributor to Mater Dei Group.
